Pope Shenouda’s Institution was founded in 2017 by the lead deacon of SMPCVI, Amgad Shockralla. The reason the church has chosen the name Pope Shenouda was because he was devoted bishop for the hymns and the history of our Coptic church before he became a pope. He would encourage the kids to learn new hymns and to read their Bible often. The youth are the future of our church and just like Pope Shenouda said “A Church without Youth is a Church without a future. Moreover, Youth without a Church is Youth without a future.”The youth are the future deacons of the church and they are going to teach the hymns and serve the next generation. That is why we ought to prepare them, for our Coptic history to survive. Pope Shenouda’s Institution prepares the youth to become better deacons, to learn the hymns, read Coptic and learn how to pray and serve God.

Time for the service: Every Saturday from 6pm to 7pm
